Crathern & Smith FMC Wrapper Line Size Comparison

Written by Maria Ceschan | Sep 10, 2019 11:59:46 AM

While Crathern and Smith is no longer manufacturing new rigid box machines, many of their machines are used and sold in the packaging industry.

Parry Machine Company, based in Palmyra, NY,  has purchased all of the spare parts and blue prints from Crathern Machinery Group, which includes parts for Crathern and Smith, FMC, Stokes and Smith rigid box equipment, and Crathern Flatboard Lines and Laminators.

After the overwhelming positive response we received after creating our Emmeci Rigid Box Line Comparison chart, we knew it was time to create a similar resource for Crathern & Smith box machine users.

The LD Davis lab has formulated a number of glue products for the rigid box industry that are designed for use on Crathern & Smith machines. With the help of Mike Coughlin from Parry Machine Company, we have created a line-size chart complete with recommended LD Davis rigid box protein glues and stay tape products for each of the most popular models.
