As we head toward the close of another year, the team at LD Davis is taking a moment to reflect on what we’re most grateful for. With our 100th anniversary on the horizon, this season of gratitude holds special significance.
A century of innovation and service doesn’t happen by accident; it’s built through strong relationships, a commitment to quality, and a shared belief in doing things the right way. Here’s what we’re thankful for this year.
Our Customers and Partners
From book binders to packaging manufacturers, rigid box producers to casemakers, our customers push us to continuously improve, innovate, and adapt. We’re grateful for the trust you place in our adhesives, our training, and our technical support.
Many of our relationships with customers span decades, some even generations. That continued partnership is at the heart of our success and one of the things we value most.
A Team that Truly Cares
Our team members, on the plant floor, in the lab, in our offices, and out in the field, bring unmatched expertise and dedication to every batch of glue and customer interaction.
They ensure the quality of our protein glue remains second to none. They support manufacturers with on-site audits and hands-on training. And they carry forward the values LD Davis was built on: craftsmanship, integrity, and genuine care for the industries we serve. We couldn’t do what we do without them.
A Legacy of Sustainable Innovation
Long before sustainability became an industry standard, LD Davis was already producing one of the most environmentally responsible adhesives available: protein glue made from recycled gelatin.
This year, we are proud of how our natural adhesive continues to support manufacturers looking for clean machining, strong bonds, and reduced environmental impact. We’re grateful to contribute to a more sustainable future, while maintaining the performance and quality our customers depend on.
The Opportunity to Celebrate 100 Years
As 2026 approaches, we’re looking back on our roots with gratitude, and forward to the opportunities ahead. From our humble beginnings in Philadelphia, PA, as a stenciling company, to a global leader in natural adhesives, LD Davis’ journey is one we’re immensely proud of.
This year, we’re especially grateful for the chance to honor our past while continuing to shape the next century of adhesive innovation.
What Our Team is Thankful for This Year
As we reflect on a year of growth, resilience, and connection, our team members shared what they’re personally grateful for. Their messages remind us that gratitude comes in many forms, family, health, humor, and everyday moments that make life meaningful.

“I am grateful for my loving family, which grew this year when my first grandchild was born in July! She is happy and healthy and brings me so much joy!”
Debra Twitty
“Coming into this holiday season, I am thankful, but more blessed, to have my health. So many this year have not been as fortunate, and I have lost several family members. I’m especially thankful that my sweet daddy, who is battling Alzheimer’s, still knows all his family and is able to do for himself. I’m thankful for a mom who is strong, dedicated, and loves him the way she does. I’m extremely blessed with a wonderful husband, two amazing adult children and their spouses, and seven healthy, happy, spoiled grandchildren. I wish all of you a wonderful, happy, and healthy holiday season.”

"This year I am thankful for my two healthy boys. I just recently had a baby, and they are already the best of friends. Thank you to the team at LD Davis for taking care of things while I was on maternity leave. See everyone back in January. Happy Holidays!”

“I’m grateful for the love of my family and friends, and for getting my health back after everything I went through two years ago. Working on the 100th anniversary celebration for LD Davis has made me look back a lot. It’s been amazing to see all the obstacles the company has pushed through, and I’m so thankful for everyone’s hard work and dedication over the years. We’re all benefiting from that kind of perseverance. There will always be tough moments in life, but pushing through them helps you grow and leads you to where you’re meant to be.”
Bill
“I’m thankful to have healthy friends and family members this year. As we age, things start to go wrong, but fortunately, we are all healthy. I’m also thankful for my new son-in-law, Chris.”
Gwenn
“While a multitude of things come to mind that I feel blessed and thankful for, the highlights would have to be that I’m thankful it’s almost time for a visit from my only child! I’m thankful for the furry comedians that keep me on my toes, my heart full, and entertained. I’m thankful for my friends, new ones, and especially the longtime friends for the thick and thins we’ve survived together.”
Jeff
“I am thankful for many things. I have a wonderful family, an awesome job working with great people, and God’s blessings in my life. I must mention our miracle grandson who is now 4 years old. We are blessed!”
David
“I’m grateful for a lot of things, seeing my family again this year, my dog waking me up every morning, and being in good health.”
Brooks
“I am thankful that it will be 70 degrees this Thanksgiving.”

“I’m grateful for the love and laughter my wife and kids bring into my life, the steady support of good friends, and the joyful chaos of our two golden retrievers. I’m thankful for the gift of good health that lets me enjoy every moment, and for the simple pleasures, like a scoop of peanut butter ripple chocolate ice cream!”
Glenn
“I am thankful for all the gifts in my life, family, friends, health, a great company to work for, and all our wonderful customers. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.”
A Final Note of Thanks
To our customers, partners, employees, and the industries that have supported us for nearly 100 years, thank you. We’re grateful for your loyalty, your collaboration, and your trust.
We wish you and your loved ones a warm, safe, and joyful Thanksgiving season.
