LD Davis has been manufacturing eco-friendly adhesives for over eight decades. All of the adhesive products we manufacture are completely non-toxic, recyclable, and biodegradable. We like to do our part to help the environment. In fact, we like to call it the LD Davis Green Advantage:

One raw material that LD Davis uses in its animal glue products is pharmaceutical scrap gelatin. Before the 1970’s, most gelatin used in animal glue, or protein adhesive, was extracted from the bones and hides of pigs and cattle. Today, a significant portion of the gelatin used in protein adhesives is from pharmaceutical and nutritional scrap gelatin, either in soft gel netting or hard capsule form.

At LD Davis, we pride ourselves on thinking outside the box and our ability to customize our existing animal glue formulas to meet our clients’ needs.  We are also never afraid to create a new glue formula or a new custom adhesive for a new or difficult application.
