It's hard to believe that another year is coming to an end, and with it comes a new decade!
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, we like to take a moment to appreciate all the reasons we have to be thankful - not just today, but everyday!
I sat down with some members of the LD Davis team to see what they were thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Here's what they had to say:
"What I am thankful for is family, clean air, parents, music, health, sunshine, Sunday sleep-ins, pets, freedom, weekends, the opportunity to learn something new everyday, the first signs of spring, and to be alive!"

"This year I am thankful for the love and good health of all my family and friends. Also, thankful Carson Wentz is not hurt this season!"

"I am thankful for family and friends. Also, I am thankful for the advancement opportunity in my career at LD Davis. I love working here and ALL my coworkers are great to work with! We have a great group and I am excited on what the future holds for all of us at LD Davis!"

"I just recently went on a vacation with 3 high school buddies and their wives. I’ve known them since 1977. I’m thankful for all the relationships I have kept in my life. Family, friends, and now, coworkers and customers I can call my friends."

"I am thankful for my health (especially since I am the eldest at LD Davis!) my wife and all my family. I am thankful I can play soccer, b-ball, Frisbee golf ,ping pong, corn hole and ride bikes, run on the beach, etc with my grandkids/kids!"

"I am thankful to be one of the newest employees to the LD Davis Monroe, NC office. Thankful for a sweet lady that didn’t really know me but stuck her neck out for me, gave Brooks my resume and then that Brooks, Amy and Pat interviewed me and thought I would be a good fit for the team. Thankful for each and everyday that God allows me to get out of bed, for my health, roof over my, head, clothes on my back, a car to drive and a great place to work. I’m most thankful for a husband that loves me even when I’m unlovable. And last, but definitely not least, I am SO THANKFUL for my two grandsons: Trevor, who was born early at only 3 ¼ pounds and 16 ¾ long but is in great health and has been wide open since he came out of the womb and will be 3 in December, and Brantley, who also came early and weighed a 5 lbs who is 9 months and I think if he would have been first they would have never had a second child, LOL. They are definitely my heart."

To piggyback on what Tripp was grateful for last year, I am grateful that my husband did NOT have a vasectomy and that after about 3 years of trying, we’re finally expecting our own little lady. I’m grateful for miracles, family, friends, and a job that is as fun as it is challenging (and the new challenges I’ve had bestowed upon me). I’m also still grateful that Pat is gone hunting a lot in the fall hahaha 😝"

"My heart is so full this Thanksgiving. Not only will I be spending it with my family, but this will be my baby girl's first turkey day. I can't wait! Also, I'm hosting Thanksgiving for the first time ever this year, so I'll be EXTRA thankful if I don't burn the turkey, and have to order pizza for everyone! Wish me luck!"
